Ten Tips to build and install photovoltaic panels at Home

When barely mentioned the term "photovoltaic" or "how to make solar panels" cause many people to panic a bit because it seems that is something 'other-worldly' and solely for "specialists". For now remember that this "specialist" is already disappearing. However there are people  who try to "explain" this in short make the mistake of not filling the gaps in the road are being too specific.

A solar panel system,or sun power residential either to generate renewable energy cheap or heat water, and is laying the idea of being a device or appliance in the house. Similar to a refrigerator, a TV, blender or microwave oven or a gas therm.So worth ordering concepts to keep in mind to increase our confidence when it comes to generating electricity from the sun.
These are the ten tips to install photovoltaic panels before you make a solar panel step by step:

First. - That solar energy is converted into electrical energy with the help of four major components: 1) photovoltaic solar panels, 2) Controller, 3) Batteries and 4) Converter.

1) The photovoltaic solar panels (or PV modules) are as plates of rectangular or square shape provided with a set of "solar cells" which thin films are mostly made of silicon and having electrodes.

2) The 'driver' (or regulator) device that helps preserve battery life. It helps that the batteries charge and stay alone.

3) The battery (or batteries) are middle blocks that carrying inside electrolyte coated sheets. The most common type of batteries for a solar energy system is regular 12-volt lead-acid, capacity 100 Ah (ampere hour) which means that you can download in 10 hours 10A  or 2A in 50 hours.

4) The inverter converts the DC current or direct (DC) into alternating current (AC) to the devices appliances in the house work properly.

 Solar panels and batteries work with 'direct current' (DC) electricity, but most household devices work only with 'AC' (AC) and this type of circuit is that we all have in our homes.

Second. - Understand the relationship between Power (W) Voltage (V) and amperage (I). Both the voltage (V) and current (I: ampere) relate multiplying together:

P = V x I

Power = Voltage x Current

Third. - Understand the commercial terms for solar photovoltaic panels: Maximum power (Pmax) (W), optimal voltage (V), optimal current (A), open circuit voltage (Voc), panel model, panel dimensions, weight, cell number, cell type basically they must state in a module board or in the catalogs of the manufacturer.

Fourth. - Basics of the following topics: Seasons, Ecuador, meridians, parallels, latitude, daylight peak, silicon,wafers, solar cells, direct current, alternating current concept of "charges" in energy consumption home facilities in series and parallel, solar radiation, solar map, solar cell configuration.

Fifth. - The meaning of solar radiation, as well as the availability of solar energy in the desired location. Getting to the 'solar maps'. Each country has its own. The maximum solar panels that can perceive is at noon with direct rays,clear sky  and in the summer season-> 1000 Watts / m².

Sixth. - Ideas for using tools and materials when it comes to making at home: multimeter or multitester, copper wire DC, diodes and tools of daily routine.

Seventh. - Knowing that solar panels are encapsulated to prevent leakage of water and / or air into the module. Their frames can be wood but usually are fully sealed aluminum

Eighth. - Study area, field installation site by shadows, movements, pollution, etc.. This means knowing the advantages and disadvantages of the area or location of the photovoltaic panels.

Ninth. - Guidelines on safety standards at work in order to be provided with the equipment in good condition (shoes, respirators, gloves, goggles, etc.) as well as materials for 'first aid'.

Tenth. - To complement the core part is important to have the basics of "subsidies", "Safety", "Regulations" or "conditions" to fulfill both the domestic manufacturing of solar panels and installation of an entire power system sun to generate electricity.
